Discover the Colchagua Valley and be charmed by its Wine Route, widely recognized as Chile’s first and primary wine tourism destination, where tradition and modernity join in the production of premium red wines.

We transfer to Apalta to visit the vineyards and cellars of Viña Montes, internationally known for its icon wine Montes Alpha M. Folly and Purple Angel. We will visit its Feng Shui- inspired cellar and taste its wines at the spectacular overlook.

We will then go to Viña Viu Manent in Colchagua, where we will ride through the vineyards in an antique horse-drawn carriage to La Llavería. This beautiful colonial-era adobe building with its terracotta tiled roof is now the winery’s visitor’s center. Explore its corridors where you will find tasting rooms where you can enjoy Chile’s best Malbec, the wine shop, an emporium and the La Llavería Restaurant, which offers an interesting culinary proposal that seeks harmony between food and wines.

In the afternoon tourists will meet their host at Clos Apalta and start the tour visiting the majestic, 5 level gravity-flow winery. They will tour its facilities and see how Clos Apalta wine is made along with other wines from the Casa Lapostolle line.
